This report depicts the feasibility of clipless and sutureless laparoscopic adrenalectomy technique for giant adrenal mass and combination of right adrenalectomy and cholecystectomy in a single laparoscopic operation. A 64-year-old man with 14.0x13.3x10.7 cm right adrenal mass and cholelithiasis was referred for laparoscopic right adrenalectomy and cholecystectomy. Transperitoneal clipless and sutureless laparoscopic procedure was performed with LigaSure device. The procedure was completed with no difficulty. Total operative time was 90 min with an estimated blood loss of 40 mL. The final pathology revealed myelolipoma. No infectious or bowel complications occurred. Here, we describe a patient in whom laparoscopic clipless and sutureless laparoscopic right adrenalectomy for giant adrenal mass and cholecystectomy were performed during the same operative session. The technique appears to be feasible even for giant adrenal mass and may merit further study.
